Mariposa’s lifestyle team, led by community manager Ed Lyons and lifestyle associate Randi Bressler, is looking forward to a busy summer at the fastest growing master-planned community in Rio Rancho.
Randi and Ed collaborate with Mariposa’s resident lifestyle committee to creatively connect the community and already have several activities scheduled in the coming months. All Mariposa plans continue to be in accordance with local, state and federal regulations in regard to safely gathering.
Mariposa will continue to host a variety of virtual events, scavenger hunts, food trucks and holiday contests this summer. These have been especially popular the past few months. The community’s Easter activity successfully brought residents together by signing up to help fill eggs and then dropping baskets off at the front doors of Mariposa families with young children. They were filled with treats, art supplies and more. For Valentine’s Day, the community also came together to create Valentine boxes and drop off goodies on doorsteps.
Mariposa is hosting a community garage sale on April 30 and mouth-watering food trucks on Cinco de Mayo. There will also be activities geared toward adults as well as a few events to keep community members cool as temperatures rise.
Mariposa residents continue to enjoy hiking, biking and running as well as walking their dogs on the miles and miles of trails throughout the community and adjacent preserve. Additionally, it is anticipated many of Mariposa’s other amenities such as their indoor fitness center and pool may be allowed to reopen soon.
