Every year Acequia Winery, hosts their annual Valentine’s Wine and Chocolate pairing event. Located just 20 minutes outside of Rio Rancho, in Corrales, guests can expect an afternoon featuring nine different premium wines paired perfectly with decadent chocolate from LaJoliesse chocolates. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. This event is a perfect way to spend time with friends or romantics.

On Feb. 13 from 5:30 to 9 p.m., Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town will be hosting a 21+ event to help raise money for those living with ALS. This will be the 4th annual Hearts on your Sleeve Benefit Fashion Show and all proceeds will go to help those living with ALS in New Mexico. Patrons have the opportunity to sip on Tito’s vodka cocktails and wine, shop new styles from local boutiques, relish in local foods, listen to new music and more.

This peaceful environment offers guests painting, appetizers and a bar which opens at 4 p.m. If you’re looking for a fun, social and soothing environment this Valentine’s Day you’ve got to try this painting party.

Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel, just minutes north of Rio Rancho is offering a sweetheart special this Valentine’s Day for all the romantics. This special includes a one-night stay in a luxurious king or double queen room at the gorgeous Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel. Each room will feature chocolate-covered strawberries and a split of champagne. This stay also includes entry for two for Thursday Night Comedy, a Valentine’s food credit and more.

The ABQ BioPark Aquarium hosts a Valentine’s Day adults-only dinner and tour of the ABQ BioPark Aquarium. This is a lovely Valentine’s Day choice full of love and romance, perfect for any couple. Tickets will include a three-course meal as well as a guided tour of the aquarium discussing the romantic rituals of each aquatic animal. For those couples who not only love each other, but love to learn, this is a great date night idea.
