The city of Rio Rancho, home to Mariposa, has been celebrating turning the big 4-0 this year. We caught up with Mayor Hull at a recent ribbon-cutting event to let him know how proud Mariposa is to be a part of Rio Rancho with over 600 homes built and hundreds of residents. In honor of its 40th anniversary, Mayor Hull graciously shared four of his top reasons for loving Rio Rancho.
“I’ve lived here many years and, unparalleled, it’s the people of Rio Rancho that make Rio Rancho the greatest city in New Mexico.”
“The reason our public safety is one of my favorite things is because our citizens absolutely love our Rio Rancho police and fire departments. We are so grateful for the job they do in keeping us safe and it’s great to see them working together and the tremendous partnerships they’ve developed with our citizens.”
“Our Rio Rancho schools just do an amazing job educating and supporting our children. Local schools have always been a favorite thing for me because I’ve had five kids go through our tremendous Rio Rancho School System.”
“Finally, you can’t get away from the fact that Rio Rancho has such natural beauty. A fourth favorite is the opportunity we have to enjoy the natural beauty of Rio Rancho, the many outdoor spaces, the trails and all the things going on in our community.”
“While there is so much to love about Rio Rancho, those have to be my top four reasons I love Rio Rancho,” added Mayor Hull.
We’re grateful for Mayor Hull taking time to share some of his favorite things about Rio Rancho in recognitions of the city’s 40th celebration. The Mariposa community is honored to be a part of this great city and provide a beautiful community for the citizens of Rio Rancho.
