Cool Beans Café Coming to Mariposa this December
The Mariposa Community Association (MCA) is thrilled to announce the opening of a local, family-owned café in the Mariposa Community Center this December – Cool Beans Café by Mariposa residents Bree and Matthew Peralta.
The goals of the MCA are to enhance the community’s amenities and create new opportunities for Mariposa residents to interact. With this focus in mind, it is pleased to welcome Bree and Matthew as part-time, limited-service food and beverage operators to the existing Café space in the community center. Cool Beans Café is intended to be exclusive for Mariposa residents and their guests as it adds positive value to the amenity center, while maintaining residents’ ability to utilize the café space for a variety of activities including meetings, get-togethers, club gatherings and more. Choosing to partner with an operator allows the MCA to conveniently provide delicious, high-quality food and beverages for residents.
“Cool Beans fulfills the original plan for this area of the community center. We’re grateful for Bree and Matthew’s willingness to offer this new service, and thrilled this opportunity is going to a small Mariposa family business,” shared the MCA.
Bree and Matthew Peralta, through their delicious food truck “Flourish,” had previously served Mariposa residents multiple times. Bree, her husband Matthew, and young daughter, are Mariposa residents in The Peaks neighborhood and understand how special Mariposa is.
The Cool Beans Café Grand Opening is planned for Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Regular café hours after the grand opening will be Wednesday through Saturday, 6 a.m. until 1 p.m., pending adjustments deemed appropriate based on usage.
While the menu is not finalized, Cool Beans Café may serve, but is not limited to:
- A variety of dine-in or to-go items and seasonal specials
- December specials may include peppermint mocha latte, eggnog latte and seasonal decorated sugar cookies
- Coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, espressos and hot teas
- Lemonades, smoothies and cold beverages
- Rotation of fresh pastries such as donuts, cinnamon rolls and tarts
- Gourmet toasts, bagels and cream cheese
