Spring 2021 Sales Strong at Mariposa
Home sales at Mariposa, the premier master-planned community in northern New Mexico, have been very strong in 2021. Mariposa Project Manager Jack Eichorn reports that the community has had 53 net builder sales, up from 30 sales in 2020 and 31 sales in 2019 during the same first-quarter period.
Mariposa provides new construction homes with stunning views and an active lifestyle with quality amenities including a LEED-certified community center, fitness center, weight room, floor exercise room, massage room, lockers, indoor lap pool, outdoor pool, park with play equipment, sport field, miles of walking and biking trails— all adjacent to the 2,200-acre Mariposa Preserve.
Homes in the Mariposa community range from approximately 1,500 to 4,500 square feet and feature direct-to-home fiber-optic connections which contribute to a higher quality, more connected way of living. Prices currently range from the low $200,000s to the $400,000s. Mariposa homes are designed for all types of homeowners — retirees, couples, single individuals and families of every size with a wide variety of neighborhoods available, including numerous award-winning builders and custom home neighborhoods with estate-sized homesites.
Builder/Sales updates
“Pulte Homes in the Redondo neighborhood has been the leader in sales,” Eichorn said. “They have approximately 30 homes left to sell out of the 160+ lots in the subdivision. They are currently building a substantial number of spec homes due to the demand.”
Another premier builder, Hakes Brothers, is doing very well in Mariposa Estates with 10 of their 24 available homes sold. Their recent grand opening drew more than 100 visitors.
Sales at DR Horton Homes in Jemez Vista are increasing as well. Eichorn said he has approved construction permits for more than half of their 41 total lots to begin building a substantial number of specs.
Twilight homes is now preselling their newest neighborhood, The M Urban Series which includes a commercial area as well as 25 stunning new Twilight homes in a two-acre parcel. They are days away from completing their model and also have two specs under construction.
Abrazo Homes and RayLee Homes are both sold out in Mariposa.
Additionally, Harvard Investments, Inc., Mariposa’s real estate developer, has closed on seven estate lot sales, with six of those to Hakes Brothers in Mariposa Estates.
The Spring Parade of Homes is coming up April 23-25 and April 30-May 2 and Eichorn expects several Mariposa homes will be featured.
